Soon a second and third shop will be opened at Chatuchak & Pattaya markets. Internet-based sales started in december 2004. The company founder Yumi and her sister Fon take care of the shops in Bangkok, and her brother coordinates the design and construction. With the construction-teams in place now, every month 4 to 5 big statues can be produced, together with dozens of medium sized ones and about a hundred smaller sized statues. Yumi Modal's CEO, Anchalee Saengtai

Like many other companies, Yumi's (Anchalee Saengtai) business started in the back of a garage (in 2002); now it is an efficiently running family business with a shop on a prime location in Bangkok (corner of Sukhumvit soi 7, see map below), at the Nana BTS station, and right in front of the 5-star Landmark hotel.
